Patuakhali: Two motorcyclists, including a schoolteacher, were killed as a bus crashed into their vehicle at Shoula on the Baufal-Lohalia Road in Sadar upazila in Patuakhali on Wednesday.

The Sadar police said the speeding bus hit the motorbike from the opposite direction in the area at about 9:30am, leaving the bike riders Faruk, and Hareram,a teacher of Crokmahal Government Primary School in Baufal upazila, dead on the spot.

Hareram was going to school on the hired motorcycle.

Agitated people and students of the school blocked the road and also vandalised the killer bus.

Police went to the spot and brought the situation under control.
