Jhinaidah: Four members of a Bangladeshi family were killed in a road accident in Riyadh of Saudi Arabia on their way to home after performing Umrah.

Two others were injured in the accident.

The deceased are Shiuli Begum, wife of Saiful, who is a resident of Hamdah Sheikhpara in Jhinaidah, their son Al Saim Omar, Abbas Sardar from Bhabatipur village at Keshabpur upazila in Jessore, and his wife Rehana Parvin.

Shiuli’s daughter Saima Islam said her mother, sister, and younger brother went to Saudi Arabia, where her father lives, in last January.

Saima said the microbus, carrying her family members who were returning Riyadh at about 6:00am on Saturday, collided with a truck in Al-Kharij area and left four of them dead on the spot.

The injured were taken to a hospital in Riyadh.
