Benapole: Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested 14 people while they were returning home from India without any valid documents along Amrakhali border here on Tuesday morning.

Being informed that crossing the border illegally, several people was going to Barishal on a BRTC bus, a team of BGB raided the bus in the morning and arrested them, said Lt Col Ariful Haque, commanding officer of BGB-49 battalion, reports the UNB.

Among the arrestees, three were female and two children, hailing from Barishal.

Later, the arrestees were handed over to Benapole Port Police Station, he added.
