Jashore: A case was filed against three people on Tuesday for allegedly gang-raping a housewife in Manirampur upazila.

Shahidul Islam, officer-in-charge of Manirampur Police Station, said the victim filed the case with his police station in the afternoon, reports the UNB.

The accused were identified as Nazim Uddin of Hogladanga village, and Golam Mostafa and Rezaul Islam of Kazirgaon village in the upazila.

According to the case statement, the accused swooped on the house of the victim, aged about 33, at Hogladanga village in absence of her husband on October 24 and violated her in turns.

The accused also threatened the victim with dire consequences if she disclosed the incident.
