Ctg arson attack victim dies at DMCH
Dhaka: A man who received burn injuries in an arson attack by miscreants in Tigerpass area of Chittagong on February 19 died at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) on Sunday morning.
The deceased is Subhash Chandra Som,56, son of late Bijendra Som of Baratkunda village in Sitakunda upazila of Chittagong and a worker at Riazuddin Bazar in the port city.
DMCH police camp in-charge Inspector Mojammel Haque said Subhash, who sustained 30 percent burn injuries in his body, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital around 11:30 am.
Earlier, seven passengers of a human hauler suffered injuries, including three with burns, in the arson attack on the vehicle by hurling two petrol bombs in Tigerpass area at about 12:30 am on February 19.
Later, Subhash was admitted to DMCH at night on that day.
