Dhaka: Miscreants torched a bus at Nikunja in the city’s Khilkhet area on Sunday morning on the first day of another 72-hour countrywide hartal, enforced by the BNP-led 20-party alliance.

Fire Service control room sources said a ‘Bismillah Paribahan’ bus was set on fire in the area at about 10:40am.

A fire fighting unit went to the spot and doused the blaze.

No one was injured in the incident.
