Dhaka: Krishak Sramik Janata League (KSJL) President Abdul Kader Siddiqui on Statuary said he will clear his party’s position over joining the Dr Kamal Hossain-led Jatiya Oikyafront on Monday.

Kader Siddiqui was supposed to come up with the announcement of joining the Oikyafront at a discussion at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh in presence of Dr Kamal Hossain today, but he sought another day to take the final decision in this regard, reports the UNB.

KSJL arranged the programme at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh marking the Jail Killing Day commemorating the assassination of four national leaders inside Dhaka Central Jail on November 3, 1975.

Dr Kamal Hossain addressed the programme as the chief guest.

Speaking at the programme, Kader Siddiqui said, ‘I had declared to join Jatiya Oikyafront today. Sir (Kamal) I want another day from you. I’ll inform you about my party’s position the day after tomorrow.’

He said he never took position against public opinion and will neither do it in the future. ‘But I can say you’ve already turned victorious... no one will be able to resist your victory. I congratulate you sir (Kamal).’

Kader Siddiqui said he along with his party leaders will go to Kamal Hossain’s chamber by 12:30pm on Monday to convey their decision.

Kamal Hossain hoped that Kader Siddiqui will be there with Oikyafront with the goal of building the country as dreamt by freedom fighters.
