Cox’s Bazar: Police recovered the bullet-hit body of a suspected drug trader from Kwaikhong in Teknaf upazila on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Ali Hossian alias Shonamia, 38, son of Mobarak Ali of Nayabazar area in the upazila, reports the UNB.

Pradip Kumar Das, officer-in-charge of Teknaf Police Station, said being tipped off that two groups of ‘drug traders’ were exchanging bullets in the area over internal feud, a team of police went to the spot around 7:00am and recovered the bullet-hit body of Ali.

Later, the body was sent to the Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
