Savar: A man was hacked to death allegedly by his younger brother in Kaichabari area of Ashulia on Saturday night over land related dispute.
The deceased was identified as Abu Taher, 40, reports the UNB.
Taher’s younger brother Jahed Ali swooped on him while he was sleeping and hacked him indiscriminately with a sharp weapon, leaving him dead on the spot, said Sheikh Rezaul Haque Dipu, officer-in-charge of Ashulia Police Station.
Later, Jahed surrendered to police, he added.
