11 Bangladeshis held along Benapole border

Tipped off, a team of BGB-49 conducted a drive in the area and arrested them while they were entering the country without valid documents, said Lieutenant colonel ArifulHaq, commanding officer of BGB-49, reports the UNB.
The arrestees are—Humayun, 27, Rani Begum, 25, Jaiga Begum, 30, RumaKhatun, 30, SharimaKhatun, 20, RahimaKhatun, 22, Hidlussheikh, 30, RiyaKhatun, 7, Sazzad Hossain, 10, Liton Barman, 38 and Pintu Sarkar, 33. They hail from different parts of Noakhali, Bagerhat and Narail districts.
They were handed over to Benapole port police.
