Rajib killing: Charge framing hearing on 18 March

Dhaka: A Dhaka court on Sunday fixed 18 March for starting the hearing on charge framing against eight accused in the blogger Rajib murder case.
Judge of the 4th additional Metropolitan Session Judge Mohammad Ruhul Amin passed the order following petitions filed by their lawyer.
The accused are Shaikhul Hadith Mufti Jasimuddin Rahmani, chief of Ansarullah Bangla Team, former students of North South University Faisal Bin Nayeem alias Dwip, Maksudul Hasan alias Anik, Mohammad Ehsan Reza alias Rumman, Nayeem Sikder alias Irad, Nafiz Imtiaz, Sadman Yasir Mahmud and Redwanul Azad alias Rana.
Among the accused, Redawanul Azad Rana is still on the run.
On 15 February last year, Ahmed Rajib Haidar, was found stabbed dead near his house at Palash Nagar in the capital's Mirpur area.
Nibaran Chandra Barman, a DB inspector submitted chargesheet against eight people on 29 January, 2014.
