Dhaka: Patuakhali-3 MP candidate SM Shahjada met his maternal uncle Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda in the latter’s office on Monday evening.

After the meeting, SM Shahjada told reporters that he came to meet the CEC for some personal reason, as his maternal grandmother is bed-ridden, reports the UNB.

‘I’ve come here with a doctor’s prescription. It’s a very personal meeting, nothing else. Nothing was discussed in relation to the election,’ said the ruling Awami League candidate in the 11th national election slated for December 30.
