Dhaka: Jatiya Oikyafront chief Dr Kamal Hossain has sent a letter seeking an appointment to meet President Abdul Hamid on December 17.

A letter, signed by BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s personal secretary ABM Abdus Sattar, was sent to the President’s House on December 13, seeking an appointment to meet him on December 17, said BNP chairperson’s media wing member Sayrul Kabir Kabir Khan, reports the UNB.

He said Dr Kamal, also the President of Gono Forum, will lead a 10-member delegation during the meeting if they get the appointment.
