Bogra: A young veterinarian who went missing three days ago was found dead in a septic tank of a primary school at Chhatua village in Shibganj upazila on Friday.

Police recovered the body of Quamruzzaman Nannu, 26, son of Kamar Uddin Majnu of Bhadahar village in Kahalu upazila, from the septic tank of Chhatua Government Primary School in the afternoon.

Ahsan Habib, officer-in-charge of Shibganj police, said locals spotted the body in the septic tank at about 11:00am and informed police.

Later, the law enforcers recovered the body when Nannu’s family members identified him.

Any further information about the cause of Nannu’s death or launching of police investigation could not be known immediately.

Victim’s family sources said Nannu went missing on Tuesday.
