Dhaka: The drivers and staffs of state-run Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation bus service went on strike in city’s Joar Shahara depot on Tuesday demanding dues and arrears.
None of the buses left the depot following the strike, reports the UNB.
BRTC Chairman Farid Ahmed Bhuiyan said that staffs went on a strike demanding their dues.
However, their demands will be solved by this afternoon after a discussion with them, said the chairman.
A strike was held in last July.
