Dhaka: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been featured on the list of most influential 100 global thinkers and doers of US-based Foreign Policy journal for 2018.

Sheikh Hasina has been named among the top thinkers in the ‘Defence and Security’ category, reports the UNB.

‘Sheikh Hasina has responded to the greatest security challenge facing Bangladesh with a generosity... Rather than turn away, the approximate 700,000 Rohingya who fled persecution in Myanmar, Hasina welcomed them and allowed them to remain in her country,’ Foreign Policy wrote as reason for putting Sheikh Hasina in the list.
