Comilla: The body of a schoolboy, who went missing on Saturday, was found at Chandpur village in Laksam upazila on Sunday night, reports UNB.

Sub-inspector Akhter Hossain of Laksam Police Station said Sohag, 8, a class II student of Monoharpur Primary School and son of Mostafa Miah, a resident of the village went missing from Saturday evening.

Local people spotted his body in a canal near his house on Sunday evening and informed police.

Later police recovered the body at night.

The body bore several injury marks.
