Chattogram: At least four people were killed and 10 others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a microbus on Chattogram-Potia road at Bhaer Dighi village in Potia upazila on Sunday.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately, reports the UNB.

The accident took place around 8:45am said Mohammad Mizan, in-charge of Potia Police outpost.

The injured were taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospitall, said the police officer adding that the death toll may go up as some of them sustained severe injuries, he said.

A speeding bus of Saudia Paribahan hit the microbus at the place, leaving several people dead on the spot, said witnesses.
