NOAB greets PM’s adviser Salman F Rahman

Dhaka: The leaders of Newspaper Owners Association of Bangladesh (NOAB) on Tuesday greeted BEXIMCO Vice-President Mr Salman F Rahman for appointing him as the private industry and investment adviser to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
NOAB president and Daily Prothom Alo editor Matiur Rahman, Prominent industrialist and Samakal publisher AK Azad, The Daily Star editor Mahfuz Anam, The Independent editor M. Shamsur Rahman, Daily Manabzamin chief editor Matiur Rahman Chowdhury, Daily Bangladesh Pratidin Editor Naem Nizam and New Age publisher Shahidullah Khan Badal were present on the occasion.
During the greeting ceremony at BEXIMCO Gulshan office in the city, they discussed on the existing problems and prospectus of the newspaper industry. He assured the NOAB leaders of resolving the prevailing problems of the industry after discussing with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
