Bogra: Freedom Fighter Momtaz Uddin and also Bogra district Awami League president and member of the party’s central committee passed away early Sunday. He was 74, reports the UNB.

Momtaz Uddin was admitted at Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital at 9 pm on Saturday after suffering a heart attack and breathed his last around 5am, said family sources.

His first namaj-e-janaza will be held at Altafunnesa ground after Zohr prayers and second one will be held at Manik Chak High School field in Sadar upazila.

Later, he will be buried at his family graveyard at Kodimpara village.
