Jhenidah: An Islami Chhatra Shibir leader in Jhenaidah was found dead at Hingerpara village of Harinakundu upazila on Friday, UNB reported.

Police recovered the bullet-hit body of Shibir Ganna union unit president Jasim Uddin, 30,. He was the son of Khalil Mondal of Kaluhati village in the upazila.

Locals spotted the body lying at Shoshkhali in the morning and informed police, said officer-in-charge of Harinakundu police Mahtab Uddin.

Later, the law enforcers recovered the body and sent it to Jhenidah Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Jasim might have been shot to death, added the OC.
