Dhaka: A man injured in the deadly Banani fire succumbed to his injuries on Saturday, taking the death toll from the incident to 26.

Abu Hena Mostsafa Kamal, 40, died at the Dhaka Combined Military Hospital around noon, said Inter Service Public Relation Assistant Director Rashedul Alam Khan, reports the UNB.

A fire broke out on the seventh floor of the high-rise on Thursday, killing 25 people and injuring 70 more.
