Rangpur: Police recovered a body of a young man from Khalaspir Bandar area at Rangpur’s Pirganj on Sunday.

The victim was identified as Shobhan Hossain, 18, a construction worker and son of Rashid Sheikh, a resident of Bahati in Sirajganj, reported BSS.

On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body hanging from the roof of a constructed hospital and sent it to hospital morgue.

We are conducting investigation into the matter to know whether it suicide or murder, said inspector (investigation) M Harun-or-Rashid.

A UD case was filed in this connection.
