Dhaka: The final results of 39th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination were published on Tuesday.

Altogether, 4,542 candidates were recommended for assistant surgeon’s post and 250 for assistant dental surgeon, said a press release of Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC), reports the UNB.

Details of the results are available at PSC website: www.bpsc.gov.bd. The results can be known through text messages by typing PSC<Space>39<space>Registration Number and sending to 16222.

The PSC sought applicants on April 8 last year for 4,792 posts of physicians. The preliminary test was held on August 3.

A total of 13,750 candidates cleared the written test. The viva-voce began on October 10.
