Dhaka: Bangladesh Railway will start selling advance train tickets on May 22 on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Railways secretary Md Mofazzal Hossain said the ticket sale will continue till May 26 while the sale of return tickets will begin on May 29 and continue till June 2, reports the UNB.

Tickets for May 31 journey will be available on May 22 while for June 1 on May 23, for June 2 on May 24, for June 3 on May 25 and for June 4 on May 26.

Besides, the return tickets for June 7, 8,9,10 and 11 will be available on May 29, 30, 31, June 1 and 2 respectively.

Six pairs of special trains will run on different routes for Eid.

Besides, sale of advance bus ticket will begin on May 17, said Ramesh Chandra, chairman of Bangladesh Bus-Truk Owners Association.

The selling of tickets will start at 6 am on May 17 for May 30 journey, he said.
