Dhaka: Bangladesh Krishak Samity (BKS) on Friday called a sit-in programme by farmers on May 23 in front of DC offices across the country seeking fair prices for farm produces.

‘We’ll call non-stop sit-in and nationwide road blockade programmes next month if our demands are not met,’ threatened BKS general secretary Sazzad Jahir Chandan while speaking at a human-chain programme organised by BKS in front of the Jatiya Press Club in the morning.
