Savar: Four policemen of Ashulia Police Station were injured when a bus crashed into a police vehicle on the Dhaka-Aricha Highway at Bishmile in Ashulia area on Thursday night.

The injured are Asulia police sub-inspector Mohammad Mehedi Hassan, constable Shabuj, Salauddin, and Jahangir.

They were taken to Enam Medical College and Hospital in Savar.

The Ashulia police officer-in-charge Mahsinul Kadir said the accident took place at about 11.30pm when a police vehicle carrying four policemen turned turtle after being hit by a bus of ‘Islam Paribahan’, leaving three police members and driver of the vehicle Jahangir Alam injured.

They met with the accident while going to Jahangirnagar University campus for performing duties, said the OC.
