Dhaka: The government has strongly advised its nationals not to undertake any visit to Syria due to the ongoing violent conflict and prevailing extremely dangerous security situation.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is monitoring the situation, reported UNB Monday referring to a ministry statement.

The government further requested Bangladesh nationals to refrain from visiting Syria until further notification in this regard.
