The city corporation election of Dhaka and Chittagong will be held by June of this year.

Chief election commissioner (CEC) Kazi Rakibuddin Ahmed on Thursday declared the feasible schedule of the election after a pre-election review meeting with law enforcers, Army, detective organisations and representatives of education ministry. 

The CEC said whether army would be deployed during the election is depending on the situation.

The law enforcers assure the commissioner that the situation will improve in future.
