Savar: Miscreants hurled petrol bomb at a bus in the Genda area of Dhaka-Aricha Highwat in Savar in early hours of Friday.

Passengers said the bus caught fire as miscreants threw fire bombs at a Dhaka-bound Sayeem Enterprise night coach at about 4:00am. The passengers managed to get off the bus. No casualty was recorded due to this incident.

A fire-fighting unit went to the spot and brought the fire under control.

Savar model police officer-in-charge Motaleb Mia said the miscreants could not be identified yet.
