Habiganj: A woman was burnt to death in a fire at a tenant house in Anantapur area of Habiganj town on Sunday morning, reports UNB.

The deceased is Maya Rani, 50, a cleaner of a private clinic in the town and resident of Richi village in Sadar upazila.

Police said the fire might have originated from the kitchen instantly spreading to the entire house, burning Maya Rani alive when she was asleep.
