Strong earthquake jolts country

A strong 6.9 magnitude earthquake jolted in the country, including capital Dhaka on Wednesday evening.

The earthquake, prompting the panic-stricken people to come out of their homes and workplaces, felt at about 7:57pm.

According to US Geological Survey the epicentre of the earthquake was at Mawlaik in Myanmar.
