Chittagong: A man was killed in road accident at Garibullah Shah Mazar area at Chittagong’s Khulshi this morning.

The victim was identified as Rezaul Karim, 50, an employee of Spark Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

Chittagong Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) police outpost sources said Rezaul Karim received serious head injuries when a rider turned turtle in front of the bus counter. Local people brought him to CMCH but the attending doctors declared him dead.

Police detained the vehicles but its driver and helper managed to escape from the spot.
