Jhenidah: Police recovered one gun and two rounds of bullets at Bujitala village of Sadar upazila on Friday following the arrest of two suspected terrorists from South Shikarpur village in the early morning.

The arrested persons were identified as Madhob, 30, and Kumud Sarkar, 32, both residents of the village, according to a UNB report.

Jhenidah police officer-in-charge Hasan Hafizur Rahman said police conducted a drive in the village and arrested the duo from their respective homes early Friday.

Police conducted another drive based on the information gleaned from the arrested during the primary interrogation and recovered one shooter gun and two rounds of bullets from the house of another suspected terrorist Dipankar at neighbouring Bujitala village, he added.
