Natore: Two passengers were killed as a utility vehicle collided head-on with a pick-up van in Natore on Sunday morning.

Four people were also injured during the accident.

Police said the deceased are Khalilur Rahman, and Shyampad Kundu, both residents of Boraigram upazila.

The Highway police sub-inspector Selim said a Natore-bound Leguna, a utility vehicle used for public transport, collided head-on with a pick-up van as it neared PTI intersection of Bypass road and left six passengers of the Leguna injured.

The injured were taken to Natore Sadar Hospital, where doctors declared two of them dead.
