Khagrachhari: A woman and her one-year-old son were found hanged from a rope at their house in Matiranga municipality area in Khagrachhari on Tuesday.

Police recovered the hanging bodies of Hosne Ara Begum, 25, wife of Mohammad Yeasin of Ramij Keranipara, and their son M Zahedul Islam in the afternoon.

Officer-in-charge of Matiranga Police Station M Sahadat Hossain Tito said the incident might have occurred following family feud. ‘We’re investigating the incident.’

He also said Yeasin along with his parents went into hiding.
