Munshiganj: A worker, Md. Yunus, 32, died on Monday morning at Mukterpur in Munshiganj while he was carrying sacks of potatoes to the Dewan Cold Storage.

Deceased Yunus was the son of Md. Shahjahan Bepari of Charbarekha village in Manikganj.

Mukterpur naval outpost in charge SI Mosharaf Hosen said, ‘Yunus caught under heavy sacks of potatoes breaking a stage at Dewan cold storage while he was carrying potatoes at about 7.30am. He was taken to the hospital where he died undergoing treatment.’
