Bangladesh-China to modernise technology in co-operation sectors
Dhaka: Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu and new Chinese ambassador Ma Mingqiang have agreed to modernise technology in the sectors of cooperation between Bangladesh and China.
Inception of advanced technical know-how in media, construction and tourism sectors will enhance Bangladesh’s growth and China is ready to provide with the most advanced solutions, said the Chinese envoy during his meeting with the minister at his office on Monday afternoon.
Inu reiterated Bangladesh’s support to One-China policy as the ambassador said China pursues the policy of non-interference to internal affairs of other countries, a similar foreign policy of Bangladesh.
Ma Mingqiang said his government looks forward to strengthening the ties with the government of Bangladesh and that he looks forward to a result-oriented tenure.
The development and exchange of media contents, including translation of dramas in both the languages, construction of roads and infrastructures, as well as development of site and communication in tourism sectors were also discussed at the meeting.
Chinese ambassador also agreed to the minister’s proposal to send a media team to China in celebration of the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations with China this year.
