Keraniganj: A seminary boy has been sexually assaulted allegedly by his teacher in Keraniganj.

Abu Sahadat Mohammad Shahin, sub-inspector of Keraniganj Model Police Station, said a teacher of East Charail Jamiul Quran Madrasah, sexually assaulted the nine-year-old student of the seminary on Wednesday.

Victim’s mother filed a case in this connection on Thursday.

Following the case, police arrested the teacher.
