Dhaka: Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Sylhet and Chittagong divisions and at one or two places over Barisal division with hails at isolated places till 6:00pm on Monday.

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, Met Office said.

Severe heat wave is sweeping over the regions of Faridpur, Rajshahi, Mongla, Satkhira, Jessore and Chuadanga. Mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Rangpur and Barisal divisions & rest part of Dhaka, Rajshahi, & Khulna divisions and the regions of Chandpur, Noakhali & Srimangal and it may continue.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
