Savar: A driver’s assistant was killed after being run over by a bus in Palli Biddut area of Ashulia on Nabinagar-Chandra Highway on Thursday morning.

Local people said a local bus, Nirapad, was hit by a Rangpur-bound Abir Classic bus as it was stopped for passengers to board from the bus. The bus driver’s assistant, Rafiqul, died on the spot.
