Sirajganj: Three people were killed and 15 others injured when a truck collided head-on with a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in the district’s Parkula Bazar area on early Monday, reports UNB.
The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained immediately.
Police said the accident took place when a Bogra-bound truck collided head-on with an auto-rickshaw in the area at about 8.00am, leaving three passengers of the auto-rickshaw dead on the spot, 15 others injured.
Police went to the spot and recovered the body.
The injured were admitted to a local hospital.
Shahjadpur Police officer-in-charge Helal Uddin confirmed the accident.
