Gazipur: A fire broke out in a warehouse of Transcom Beverage Ltd in Telirchora area in Kaliakoir upazila in Gazipur on early Saturday.

Fire service sources said the fire broke out in the factory warehouse at about  2am and it soon engulfed the entire warehouse that burned down at least 50 refrigerators and other valuables.

On information, two fire fighting units rushed to the spot and it took two hours for them to douse the fire.

Kaliakoir fire service station officer Apurbo Bol confirmed the incident.

It’s not clear yet what caused the blaze, he said.
