Savar: Miscreants set fire to a bus, which was parked at the transport Square of Jahangirnagar University, in the early hours of Sunday.
The bus, used for carrying teachers and students, has been burnt down completely.
No casualty was recorded during the incident.

The transport office canteen employee Shamsul said, ‘We (transport office employees) and Ansar members doused the fire early on Sunday.  We did not see anyone in the spot.’

University security officer Zefrul Hassan Chowdhury said it could not be known immediately who were involved with this arson attack.

Registrar Abu Bakar Siddique said a case will be filed in this connection.

Ashulia police visited the place after being informed about the fire incident.
