Chapainawabganj:  Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members recovered fake Indian currency notes from Tarapur Math area in Shibganj upazila on Monday.

Chapainawabganj BGB-9 additional director Major Minnat Ali said a patrol team of the border force conducted a drive in the area and recovered Indian fake notes worth BDT61,875  in the afternoon.

However, none was arrested in this connection.

The recovered fake Indian currency notes were deposited to Shibganj Police Station.
