Dhaka: The American Embassy in Dhaka, including its consular section, will remain closed on Thursday to celebrate the Independence Day of Bangladesh.

The American Center with the Archer K. Blood American Center Library and the EducationUSA, Student Advising Center will also remain closed on the day.

However, emergency services for American citizens will be available, said a press release on Tuesday.
