Police on Tuesday night found two bodies in a house at Jatrabari in Capital. 

The deceased were identified as Raushan Ara, wife of late additional superintendent of police Abdul Kuddus and the housemaid of the house Kalpana.

Police assumes that the throats of the victims were slashed.

Police said people rushed to the house when Kalpana’s mother Lucky cried out seeing the bodies.

Being informed, police went to the house and found Raushan Ara’s body on the bed while the body of Kalpana was on the sofa.

Police said they are investigating the incident.

The three sons and two daughters of Raushan Ara live abroad. Her husband Abdul Kuddus died in 1996. Raushan Ara used to live in the 1st floor of the building at Jatrabari.
