Chittagong: A man was burned to death as a fire broke out at a house in Arefin Nagar area under Bayezid upazila, Chittagong in the early hours of Friday.

The deceased is Abdul Ali.

The fire, which broke at about 3:00am, burnt down at least four houses of that area.

Chittagong fire station officials said fire fighters doused the flame after two hours.

The fire is believed to have started in the kitchen stove, said the officials.
