Court to submit probe report on Khaleda's remark 1 Aug
Dhaka: A Dhaka court on Thursday set 1 August for submission of the probe report in a case filed against BNP chief Khaleda Zia for hurting religious sentiments and inciting communal hatred.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Abdullah Al Masud set the new date as the investigation officer failed to submit the report on Thursday.
President of Jananetri Parishad, a pro-Awami League organization, AB Siddique filed the petition case against the BNP chairperson on 21 October, 2014, for her speech at a reception hosted in honour of the Hindu community at the Engineers’ Institution on the occasion of Durga Puja on 14 October, 2014.
