Dhaka: A Dhaka court on Tuesday sent Bangladesh Nationalist Party joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi to police custody for three days to interrogate in a case lodged for vandalising and setting fire to a vehicle.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mostafizur Rahman passed the order as police pleaded for 5-day police custody for the BNP leader.

Earlier, on 30 January, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested him from Baridhara area in the capital.
